I. BRIEF HISTORY

               DARBA was organized in March 2011 by 30 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries who were formerly members of SAMAHAN NG MAGSASAKANG NAGKAKAISA                                                    MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE (SAMANA MPC). The Coop was later delisted by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in 2010.

               At present its membership expanded to 57% as it continues its recruitment. Currently, its total share capital amounts to PhP114,308.00 while it engages                                                       on different projects like consumer store, bubo for catching fish and alimasag, carabao dispersal, swine fattening and relending.

DARBA is also recognized by the  Barangay and Municipal government. Its present President, Marcelino Arazo, was elected as Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Peoples' Organizations in Padre Burgos.

 

II. BRIEF INFORMATION ON LAND TENURE IMPROVEMENT SITUATION

All the members are CLOA holders. For the ARC, the LAD Working Scope is 280.633 Has, with an Accomplishment of 200.9033. Leasehold Scope is 60.96 with 100% Accomplishment. Total ARBs of the ARC is 299.
