I. BRIEF HISTORY

The organization was originally registered under the name Dinalupihan Economic Community Multipurpose Cooperative or DEC MPC and started operations as early as December 22, 2004. Its initial registration was approved by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) on March 1, 2005, wherein they have 49 initial members with a minimum capital share of PhP 92,000. Since then, they now have around 378 members, and PhP 19,721,593.00 worth of assets. In 2012 however, the cooperative amended their registered name to Dinalupihan Multi-Purpose Cooperative. The cooperative profits from business enterprises such as production loans for palay and vegetable, capital provision for vegetable trading, plastic bag trading & marketing/selling of various food and herbal supplements including the maintenance of a sampaguita farm located at Pagalanggang, Dinalupihan, Bataan.

With the provision of CSFs from DAR that included 1 combine harvester, 2 handtractors and a seeder/transplanter, the coop is now venturing into equipment rentals which they now have high regard for due to the revenues it is currently unfolding for them.
